(Mayhew Press Release) Please find below information about Mayhew’s urgent appeal to replace their stolen animal ambulance.
The ambulance was stolen on July 8th in Hampstead, is vital to their work, and transported hundreds of sick and injured animals throughout its service. Being one ambulance down is having a huge impact on the amount of animals they can rescue.
Mayhew urgently needs to have an ambulance back on the road and need to raise the funds as quickly as possible to make this happen.
The new vehicle they want to get is larger, safer, and will be completely electric, which will save money in the future by being more efficient, as well as being exempt from paying various road taxes and congestion charges.
Any donations to help pay for this ambulance would be greatly appreciated by all at Mayhew and will enable them to get back to offering our full services as soon as possible, please donate via their JustGiving Page.
Mayhew CEO, Caroline Yates, said: “Our Mayhew ambulances have been on the road helping thousands of animals since 1925. They are vital to our work and having one of them stolen is having a huge impact on the number of animals we’re able to rescue.
“We desperately need to raise enough funds for a replacement, so anything anyone could donate would be very much appreciated.”
