Vets applaud Welsh Government’s commitment to tackle dog welfare problems

Vets challenge Food Standards Agency to act against Animal Abuse
(BVA Release) The British Veterinary Association (BVA) has challenged the Food Standards Agency (FSA) to take further investigative action to enable Defra to consider prosecutions against the Essex abattoir where appalling animal welfare abuses were highlighted in footage obtained by Animal Aid.
The footage shows pigs being abused and manhandled in breach of animal welfare legislation.

No Voice No Choice Fun Dog Show, Saturday 6th August 2011

[ August 21, 2011; 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm. ] I’m thrilled to have been invited by Barking Barbers to help judge at this year’s Pink Dog Show in aid of Manchester & Cheshire Dogs’ Home – which last year gained a crowd of over 1,000 people all raising lots of money for the home.
