Some of you will already know that I’m the extremely proud patron of the SOFA (Speaking Out For Animals) Club – a small school-based campaign group calling for compulsory microchipping of dogs in the UK.
SOFA recently visited the Hillside Animal Sanctuary and took with them almost £100 worth of food, treats and donations to help the dogs in their care. As you can see, from the photo above, two dogs are there too. Needless to say there are many dogs like these ones and the situation is more desperate than ever – dogs that could be traced back to their owners if they were microchipped.
