Puppy Farming Item on Channel FIVE News: Wed 18th August 2010

I’ve just filmed a piece on puppy farming for Channel FIVE News for tonight’s broadcast, featuring Labradors Sam, and Lucy the rescued ex-breeding bitch; and my reaction to a Welsh puppy farmer who’s just been fined £3000 and banned from keeping dogs for one year as a punishment for puppy farming.

  1. Jumping on someone else’s bandwagon again Marc? Tel me what did you do to raise awareness about puppy farmed dogs and pfs before you were advised of Puppy Farm Awareness Day last year?

  2. Surely you want people supporting and promoting a campaign?? How is that ‘jumping on a bandwagon’? I would have thought the more people involved the better. I don’t know who you are but I think you seriously need to get a life Jan; that attitude is just really sad.

  3. It doesn’t matter when people start supporting this cause, just as long as they do and we all keep spreading the message to stop this evil trade!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. Oh here we go again! Can someone please, please answer me this one question: What is the point of posting poisonous comments about someone who was on the Television raising public awareness about the puppy farm trade? What is it you hope to achieve? Especially when you are trying to do the exact same thing!

Just Stop! Concentrate all your efforts in raising awareness and stop poking sticks at others that are trying to do the same.

If everyone did that, then perhaps we would actually stand a chance of getting something done.

  5. Awww come on, of course everyone jumps on the ‘bandwagon’at some point, even the OP, unless she’s about 90yrs old. Puppyfarms have been going for decades.
Will the OP be complaining about Liam Gallager and Nicole Appleton jumping on the ‘bandwagon’next?
